President Goodluck Jonathan’s aide hits back at Governor Lamido

President Goodluck Jonathan’s aide hits back at Governor Lamido
Godwin Akpovie, a Political activities Assistant, office of the Political consultant to the President Goodluck Jonathan, has admonished administrator Sule Lamido of Jigawa for attacking his overseer, Ahmed Gulak.

Gulak, who is Jonathan’s consultant on Political activities, had called on the five to the north governors exploring the country to desist from heating up the polity by their utterances and activities in recent weeks.

The five governors are Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano), Aliyu Wamakko (Sokoto), Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu (Niger) and Murtala Nyako (Adamawa).

According to Gulak, as constituents of the same political family, it will be better for everyone to determination anything so-called dissimilarities live between them and the Presidency inside, rather than of junketing around the entire homeland in seek of what is not lost.

evidently outraged by the aide’s declaration, Lamido recounted it as “offensive and disrespectful”, calling Gulak a “boy.”

But Akpovie in a declaration in a declaration on Monday, marvelled why the administrator was in seek of esteem, inquiring “how much respect has any of the five Governors given to leader Goodluck Jonathan?

According to him, “The other day, in business of some other Governors commanded by Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, they strolled leisurely into a function in which leader Jonathan was already seated. Is that not an affront to the agency of Mr. leader? How numerous of them will allow their Commissioners to stroll into a function in which they are currently seated? he quipped.

“As part of settling their so-called dissimilarities with Mr. President, they are requiring the sacking of some key staff in Mr. President’s management encompassing Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, the nationwide head person of PDP. Again, can any person, including Mr. leader alignment them to assign so and so individuals as Commissioners in their respective States?

Gulak’s aide said the five Governors kept mute when the interim head person of APC Chairman, head Bisi Akande, called leader Jonathan a kindergarten leader.

“If l may ask, are they still constituents of PDP? If they still are, why are they more critical of the President than even the opponents? Respect is reciprocal, anyone who wants to propagate equity should come with clean hands. You cannot demand esteem when you deny to accord identical to a higher office. Besides, what is rude in suggesting that it is more decent to explore and exhaust all internal mechanisms to determination any seen grievances?

Akpovie supplemented that “As for Gulak being a ‘boy’, it will be instructive to remind Alhaji Sule Lamido that Barrister Gulak was the Speaker of Adamawa State dwelling of Assembly in 1992, the identical year Lamido was just a State Coordinator in the Olu Falae Presidential Campaign association. If somebody who was number 3 in a State, 21 years before and has risen to become the Political consultant to the leader of the country, a position of cabinet grade, can be described as a young man today, then something is wrong somewhere. Yet Lamido wants to be worshipped just because he is a administrator, ignoring that those who reside in glass dwelling should not hurl pebble.

“In line with what Barrister Gulak said, there are no differences that have risen that will not be settled amicably since the five Governors and the leader were voted into office on the stage of the identical party, except they have a concealed agenda,” the declaration concluded
