Goodluck Jonathan Weeps over the Death of Jigawa Deputy Speaker


President Goodluck Jonathan on August 16, 2013, Friday, commiserated with the family of the late Deputy
Speaker of the Jigawa State dwelling of Assembly, Inuwa Udi, the Speaker, constituents of the Assembly and the government and persons of Jigawa State over the death of the Deputy Speaker in a ghastly vehicle accident on Thursday.

Mr. Udi beside his driver, Mas’ud Ringim, died in an auto accident along Kano-Ringim street during a heavy down pour.

Mr. Reuben Abati, the exceptional consultant to the leader on newspapers and promotion, made the statement accessible to public, expressing utter shock at the misfortune. He described the death of Inuwa Udi as “very painful and untimely”. The President’s statement furthermore said Jigawa State and the territory would overlook the legislative know-how of Honourable Udi, a third-term member of the State House of Assembly.
