Nigeria Coach Stephen Keshi has disclosed that he has been in unchanging
touch with Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo, who underwent a successful
surgery last week in England.
Omeruo missed the Super Eagles’ journey to South Africa last Wednesday where they beaten Bafana Bafana 2-0 in Durban.
“We
have been in unchanging feel and he has been very enthusiastic about
the operation that was conveyed out last Wednesday and he is now
recuperating very well which is good report to me personally and to the
entire nationwide group, because we really missed him throughout the
Bafana Bafana game in Durban.
The alarming thing is that while he
was at the hospital for the operation, he was monitoring the game and
talking certainly to me, which shows his total dedication to the group
and Nigerian football,” Keshi said.
Keshi added that he was aware
that the Alhaji Aminu Maigari commanded Nigeria Football Federation has
furthermore been in constant touch with the contestant and the entire
Nigerian football community is joyous at the advancement the contestant
has made so far after the procedure.
The shoulder operation is
anticipated to hold Omeruo out of the group for some months. But Keshi
declared that the contestant will habitually be a part of his national
